Virat Kohli really surprised when he got a call from the selection committee to play for India for the Sri Lanka tour. He led India to victory for the Under-19 world cup earlier this year.
He was born on November 5, 1988, Delhi and he is 19 years of old. He was selected to Indian team for India vs. Sri Lanka tour and he has played for Bangalore Royal Challengers, Delhi, India Red, India Under-19s etc. His role is lower middle order batsman and his style of batting is right hand bating.
Virat Kohli's ODI debut is India Vs. Srilanka 1st ODI on 18th August 2008 in which he scored 12 runs from 33 balls. He is yet to play any international test cricket.
