India's Gautam Ghambir to miss the deciding test between India vs Australia at Nagpur starting from today as the ICC Appeals Commissioner today upheld the one-test ban on him.
India won the the toss and elected to bat first in the Nagpur Test. India will miss this man with 427 runs in just five innings. Tamil Nadu's opener Murali Vijay was named as a replacement for Gambhir.
But BCCI was not ready to accept the verdict and shot off a letter to ICC president David Morgan. BCCI alleged in that letter that the verdict seems to be pre-decided as the same has been passed without affording the player an opportunity of a personal hearing.
